The history of DCW begins in far 1997 in the mind of a dreamy young man passionate about creating exclusive products from exotic woods. Denis V Shpak grew up as the most youthful boy in a large family among other five older kids, where their father was an artist and builder. Denis’ entire childhood passed in an atmosphere of love for art. This will play a role in the future when choosing the direction of work and entrepreneurship. At 17, Denis began working as a cabinet maker on custom-made projects for a company. Two years later, he became an independent worker, and a year later, he decided to emigrate to the United States. Finding himself at 20 with his wife and child in a new reality, Denis dreams of starting his own business in a new place. In 2005, he created a small business named Dennis Custom Woodworks, which makes exclusive cabinets, stairs, and wood floors. In 2012 the company began to work under the new name DCW Stairways, which started to offer custom-made stairs. Previous experience in cabinet and wooden floor production allows us to have advanced knowledge and capabilities in designing and selecting materials for stairs.
